Kazi Hassan, M.D. is board certified, specializing in Anesthesiology with a sub-specialty in Interventional Pain Management, by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of New York, Buffalo. He then returned to his home country to complete his degree as a Medical Doctor in Bangladesh at the University of Dhaka. He returned to the US where he completed a surgical residency at St. Francis Hospital, in New Jersey. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at St. Joseph’s Hospital in New Jersey. He continued his education at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York by completing a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management.

Dr. Hassan practiced both anesthesia and pain management briefly in Clearwater before opening his practice in St. Petersburg. He is currently the Medical Director of Florida Medical Pain Management. He also holds professional membership in the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Florida Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Academy of Pain Management.
